The waterfalls is made up of different cascades. It is about 4 tiers that cascades down at different heights. The main cascade which is at the top most level are made of 3 main separated cascades. It was very hard to get to the base of the main cascades as it is obstructed by large boulders and they are very slippery.

This place is about 1-2 hours from the municipal town proper of Naguilian, La Union. We went there on motorcycle but I did see public jeepneys in the barangay where we had our jump off. I was told there are only certain schedules of public ride within the day. Road to the place is very similar to the way going to Baguio if via Naguilian Rd, mostly steep, uphill and zigzagging. Upon reaching jump off, it’s a good 20 minutes trek to Bulalakaw Falls.
